The MCP server is free, open source and self-hostable, and stays that way. Nobody is selling a managed version of it.
The two products are separate purchases and share no files. They meet only on GitHub Actions: the
Toolkit’s five starter workflows are short, general templates inside a repository-setup set — pinned
by version tag, with a note telling you to replace them with SHAs — while the Vault’s twenty
workflows arrive SHA-pinned with a verification table. If Actions is the problem you are solving,
the Vault is the one to buy.

If you are learning Git, this is the plan; the paid files are of little use until the concepts are
in place.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a subscription or membership fee?
No. Every lesson, lab, session, challenge and tool is free without an account. The two paid products are one-time purchases of files — workflows, templates, checklists and scripts — with updates included. Nothing recurs and there is nothing to cancel.
What do I need to pay for to finish the curriculum?
Nothing. The curriculum is complete without any purchase, and nothing that is free will move behind a price. The paid products are the artefacts the lessons describe, assembled and annotated — you could build every one of them from the free material.
Which individual product should I choose?
If your problem is pipelines, the Workflow Vault: it is entirely GitHub Actions. If it is setting up whole repositories — CODEOWNERS, PR templates, decision guides, API scripts, security checklists — the Professional Toolkit.
Do the two products overlap?
On subject, in one place: both touch GitHub Actions. No file appears in both. The Toolkit has five short starter workflows (CI, Docker publish, release, reusable, security scan) inside a repository-setup set; the Vault is twenty production workflows plus three reusable workflows, a composite action, caller examples and five documentation guides. The clearest difference is pinning: every action reference in the Vault's workflows is a full commit SHA with the version beside it and a verified pin table (80 of 81 references; the exception is a commented note), while the Toolkit's starters use version tags and tell you to pin them. Neither product is an upgrade of the other, and buying one does not discount the other.
Do I need an account to buy or to download?
No. There is no account system on this site. Stripe takes the payment and sends you to a download page that keeps working; nothing is created, nothing is logged into.
Can I use the files in my employer's repositories?
Yes — that is the normal case, and the licence covers unlimited personal and employer repositories. What it does not cover is redistribution: sharing the archive or your download link, publishing the bundle, or building a competing template product from it. If several engineers each want their own copy, each needs a purchase.
How much customization is required?
Enough that you should plan for it. Every Vault workflow marks what you must change with `CUSTOMIZE` — branch, runtime versions, commands, image names, cloud identifiers, environments — and the bundled checklist covers the repository settings around them. Toolkit files each open with what they assume and what to change first. Nothing in either product is meant to be committed unedited.
How do downloads and updates work?
The download page you land on after payment is the delivery mechanism and the update mechanism: it is not single-use, not device-bound, and revised files appear at the same address. Order help covers the case where it does not open.
How do I ask for help or a refund?
Order help is the route for downloads, updates and refunds, and it sets out the 14-day refund right in the Terms — on request, no reason needed, nothing to return.
Is there a team or enterprise plan?
Not on sale. Both products are licensed per engineer today, so a team where several people want their own copy buys one per person. A team licence is written up as a proposal — price and terms still undecided, no checkout — and the page says what it would cover and what is unresolved. If that is what you need, saying so by email is the thing that moves it.
How are the files delivered?
Stripe takes payment and sends you straight to a download page, which keeps working for updates. The receipt arrives by email. Nothing is installed and no account is created.
What is the refund policy?
Stated in the Terms: a full refund within 14 days of purchase, on request.
Do you offer discounts or bundles?
Not at present. Prices are exactly what the pages show; there is no coupon to look for.
